Happy Customers = Good Reviews?


While content spammers have been hard at work infiltrating e-commerce customer reviews, there are still plenty of altruistic reviewers out there. A new infographic by Demandforce underscores that most people post online reviews in an effort to help others make good decisions. (My favorite recent example of this is my colleague Will’s ode to Panda Express.)

High on the list of reasons customers leave reviews is to “reward a company that has done right by you.” Still, it’s up to you to encourage consumer reviews and to demonstrate your appreciation for user opinions, even when they’re negative.
