Successful retail brands of the future will fully integrate their web, store, and mobile sales channels, Toys R Us CEO Jerry Storch said at a recent Shop.org conference.
Storch said he believes superior customer service will help traditional retailers to continue successfully competing with web-only entities such as Amazon. But stores will also need to offer exclusive products and brands.
“Ultimately, this is how we win,” he said. “It is about having product that isn’t available anywhere else. It’s about having the brands and products that people want.”
